He heads to a retreat in Oregon for the terminally and chronically ill, hoping he comes to grip with his disease. There Tom meets other people who share his health concerns, including Jenny, a woman he comes to feel deeply for.

About the Author: Joseph Marino, RN BSN, has been a nurse for 24 years, working in hospice for over 13 years. A gerontologist/hospice nurse, he also has a degree in anthropology and an MBA.
