By returning to the lyrics he wrote for hardcore bands, Michael Anthony Adams, Jr. reawakens the sensations of rebellion latent in all of us. He weaves the lyrics from four different bands together into one poetic tapestry that displays all the politics and emotions of youthful vigor.

Drawing from the lyrics he composed for Broken Chains of Segregation, Conscience, The Awakening, and the never-recorded Alathea, Michael reveals political, spiritual, and emotional musings from a passionate youth. Without crunching guitars and smashing drums, however, the words themselves must stand alone, outside by themselves... The same as the young man who wrote them felt he did.
