Evading Estrangement

Poetry writing is a way of finding out what you have learned about the world you have been living in. In the process of writing, you begin to realize who exactly has been teaching you. Evading Estrangement is a collection centered on the balance that we search for, that we sense, that we need in earth, nature, family, history, religion. Each snowfall, each sunrise, each new bird at the feeder, each disappointment, each sin, each challenge remains remarkable especially when life's journey is accompanied by the ones we love. All of those who have sustained me meet me in my garden and in the remote places real, imagined, and remembered that we have found together.
