Luke 15 is about leaving one’s family, squandering money on riotous living and then receiving redemption. It also presents one of the greatest examples of unconditional forgiveness ever recorded in human history. It is the famous parable of The Prodigal Son , found in Luke 15: (14-31) in the Holy Bible.

Jesus Christ was a master teacher. He taught in many ways: parables (interesting stories with a meaningful point), precepts (short and profound statements of Truth), miracles (visible results of divine action) and general observations (containing sacred wisdom). He shared his revolutionary message with large crowds, like at the Sermon on the Mount and in the Temple at Jerusalem. He also engaged in one-on-one instruction, such as with the Samaritan woman at the well in his discourse on the living water .

Rev. Allen C. Liles is an ordained minister and creator of the Classic Bible Chapter series. He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, TX and the Unity School of Christianity in Unity Village, MO. Before entering the ministry, Rev. Liles served as vice-president of public relations for The Southland Corporation (7-Eleven Stores) and communications manager for The McLane Company. He is also the author of SITTING WITH GOD: Meditating For Divine Guidance and THE FOREVER PENNY: Our Loved Ones Stay Connected After Death.
