Seasons: Stories of Family, God and the Great Outdoors

To some, fall is their favorite time of year. Cooler temperatures, autumn colors, and hunting seasons also come along. Spring is fancied by others, with its bird songs, multicolored flowers and hungry fish. Many prefer summer the best. Fireflies light the night, crickets play their songs and it’s nice to relax in the shade while a slight breeze flows past. Then we have winter which is a favorite because it has a special beauty all its own. This season seems to slow down the hectic pace of life. Each of the four seasons is part of what makes America so wonderful. Our nation is blessed with a great diversity of land and water of all kinds. There is something for everyone and memories to be made. If we want to get away from the season we are in our part of the country, we have the freedom to travel to another part where the weather is different.

We are free to believe what we want; however, I personally believe the mountains to the prairies and the oceans white with foam, were not created by a cosmic explosion.

When I am in the great outdoors, I marvel at all He created for us to enjoy and nurture. I hope the stories inside Seasons will inspire you to explore nature with your family or by yourself. Escape the craziness of the world we live in. My prayer is you will also find God while you are in His natural landscape.
