As a child, I spent time visiting my grandparents’ farm. Life on a farm builds character throughout life. I remember the simple lessons of my grandparents: Faith that it would rain, Hope that the seeds germinate, and Love during dinnertime where everyone gathered for a family meal. I always imagined their farm animals as characters acting out their roles. I cherish that time, and even though the setting of A Better Ewe is more tropical, I hope anyone can discover purpose by reading this book.
I also hope my own grandchildren will be inspired by this story, just as I was by the visits to my grandparents’ farm.
