During his journey, Duke Tate had several vivid dreams that led him to experience many miracles.

One of those dreams that struck a real chord with him was when he was suffering from the debilitating symptoms of Lyme disease.

In this dream, he was standing in a room looking at a bed where he was asleep at the time. The room, a dull color in reality, was bright white in the dream with sunlight streaming through the windows, which it rarely did. On the bed, there was a cute little baby. To his right, a Sufi dressed in a green robe pointed to the baby and said, This is what you were, now see what you have become.

That dream represented how far he had strayed from his life as an innocent child; the place where we all originate.

The illness of Lyme disease was a covert gift that brought the author Duke Tate back to his innocent true self through a spiritual journey.
