Homecoming

Dad has been deployed for a long time. He missed my birthday, my school show and Christmas. He has been gone a whole year!

A young boy has spent months waiting anxiously for the day his father will return from his deployment overseas. Today is the big day, and he can hardly wait. This will be the best day of the year!

Families gather eagerly at the airport waiting for the troops to arrive home. All too soon, he discovers that not everyone is celebrating the return.
