Once you have lived inside the world of grief, you are never the same. Your heart beats differently, and your tears flow more often. Your love increases for your circle of people. You learn the sacredness of holding space for grief and the impact it has on you physically, spiritually, and emotionally. To ignore grief is a dangerous act. If you pretend it doesn’t exist, grief will take your mind, body, and soul to places you don’t want to go.
