Miyamoto Musashi: Two Swords: Book 2

A popular illustrated story about Miyamoto Musashi that was widely read in the Edo Era. Due to the Shogun’s strict regulations the writer had to alter the names and the timeline of the famous events in Musashi’s famous life. Originally published in 1803 this story was printed in ten separate volumes. Book Two contains translations of volumes 3 & 4 of 10. The story:
Musashi, still a young man, has become an expert swordsman. This causes jealousy amongst other Samurai who seek to ambush him. Later, Musashi finds out what happened to his father and begins a journey to find Sasaki Ganryu, the man responsible.
