Author H. Alan Poquette wrote this story for his granddaughter, Maya, and grandson, Sebi. It was his joy to read it to them one night at bedtime after he had finished the manuscript. Any resemblance to the real characters, Maya and Sebi, is intended and deliberate! It is his hope that his readers enjoy reading this little tale of fantastical people, places, and events to their own children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews, as a bedtime story selection, as much as he enjoyed writing it for the two most precious children in his and his wife Jo’s lives.
