Death-for most people-is an event that should - alas- not be discussed, showing too often embarrassment toward this taboo subject, while the resurrection will be -later-the next and final step for all of us. Even though the topic is extensive, Christianity offers a unique picture of it. Suffice to mention the Christian Creed - first adopted in 325 A.D. in the time of Emperor Constantine - the end of which states… I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen!

In these few words expressed in this Creed, everything is said, resurrection and eternal life included. Therefore, how could so many people still be afraid of death, when Jesus-Christ offers immortality to anybody willing to follow his precepts?
