Jamie Breen is a determined young woman trying to keep her late father's landscaping business afloat. She and her love interest, Tony Rizzo, accidentally uncover a chain-bound coffin while excavating a hole for a swimming pool for wealthy widow, Deidra Westbrooke.

When the coffin is mysteriously opened, a centuries-old spirit hell-bent on seeking revenge is released.

The disappearance of Rizzo, police investigations, a greedy lawyer, a suspected vampire, a possessed widow, a blood-drained corpse and the rumor of an ancient curse bring an unlikely group of alliances together to help Jamie. Forced to reveal their own buried secrets, the group learns they all have a desperate stake in defeating the evil overtaking their small rural town.
