Never knowing her mother, and raised by her father and step-mother, working her way through high school, as well as working at home for the elderly. Became a young widow with four children, two boys, and two girls. Working a job while building her home on her own. Moving to Lake Arrowhead, California in 1962, and then losing her second husband by his own hand. Thus, showing her pain in both her paintings and writings. A world traveler to remote places, where people are real and down to earth, loving people.
