Even for sorcerers, the truth will out. Finally, Jane Fortune's luck is turning. Considering all the good she's done for the Pactlands, the Division of Laws is willing to overlook the tiny matter of her adopted father's crime and work to get Jane's citizenship sorted. As she's half human, she'll need to win the approval of the three sorcerers on the Forum-but since one is already in her debt, surely this will be a cinch.
