As Christians we must follow the biblical admonition of speaking the truth in love. Yet in the current climate indecent and defensive attack language seem to be more common. Yes, the topics are volatile. Yes, emotions are high. Yes, we know many who are directly impacted by the outcomes of these discussions. And, yes, we must speak the present truth in loving ways in these difficult conversations. The grace option is a good place to start-and that is where this book starts. Using the parable of the sower as a backdrop we should be sowers of the seeds of Shalom. We can make a difference. We must make a difference. These are not simple issues, rather, they are very complex with many moving pieces. It is our hope that this book will contribute to the conversation that rages, on a daily basis, over immigration on a global scale. We hope that you will become uncomfortable, even upset, by what you read on these pages. We also hope that you will be provoked to action. We hope that grace will prevail and that the seeds of shalom will sprout and grow.Contributors Include:
