Author and illustrator Izzy Anderson, originally from Springfield, Missouri, teaches music and art in her current city of San Antonio, TX. She has taught piano for over 15 years, painted professionally for 8 years, and her award-winning artwork has been featured throughout South Texas. Izzy regularly volunteers through music and art programs because she understands first-hand how important the arts are for individuals and the community. Her niece Hallie is a fearless kid who would truly fly to the moon if she could! Just like any other kid, Hallie enjoys telling a lie or two.
