George W. Tyler (1851-1927) was a lawyer and judge in Bell County, Texas. His history of the county, published posthumously, charts Bell County's developmenty from 1827 to 1920, from the Robertson Colony and the first settlements on Little River through the Great War. Originally published in 1936, this book is a faithful facsimile of that edition, complete with photographs and index.
