This second volume of An Artist’s Journey is entitled, Under A Wandering Star, because it chronicles Dick Heimbold’s lifelong travels along the highways and byways of the world of art. There are many ways to traverse this world-no one path to follow. Dick just followed the wandering star of his curiosity wherever it took him. It’s been a great journey so far-with stops for all sorts of art experiences that enriched his life and connection to the human condition. The pages of this volume display his vibrant artwork and tell many stories of his human side, starting with his childhood in a small New Jersey town and continuing through his life as he produces hundreds of works in a surprising range of media.
