Unraveling Legends

Rihou Royaltine expected his eighteenth birthday to be somewhat unremarkable. Enjoy a traveling circus' entertainments, and then head off to join the Foresalia Army and follow in his late father's footsteps. Things don't quite go to plan as first a dancing bard captivates his heart, and then training at the Army's camp ends in massacre-a betrayal from within the Army itself. When Rihou wakes up from his escape, he's in another country, war is brewing, and his entire world has been torn apart. Lucky for him that he was rescued by Ewan Grizmar, a veteran of the war within the Republic of Taron. Unlucky for Ewan, one look into Rihou's eyes tells the swordsman things he didn't want to know: the eternally cheerful combatant is another Kaiten Star. Madness brews and boils inside the Foresalia Kingdom and threatens to consume it and the City-States of Arinsberg alike. Only a hero like a Kaiten Star has the ability to unify the two lands, heal the wounds wrought by evil, and put an end to an unwanted war.
