Dear Trinity is a collection of 80 pastoral letters written to the members of a newly established church and distributed as part of a weekly email update. Drawn from a total of more than 250 letters written, the selections here are devotional in nature, encouraging the members in the difficult days of getting a church off the ground. Subjects include high and low points in the life of the church, national and global events, and spiritual reflections of the pastor on a wide range of themes. The letters were begun when Dr. Hill became Trinity’s first senior pastor, a year into the church’s life. The collection concludes with his retirement three and a half years latter. Each letter is brief and easily read in a few minutes. The book also contains two indices–one with an alphabetical listing of the letters and a second listing the scripture references found in the letters.
