Earthsongs

Earthsongs is a wonderful collaboration between poet Robert Eugene Perry and artist Ferol Smith. The combination of images conjured by Perry’s evocative words, entwined with the stark black and white pen and ink drawings–Perry’s images made flesh of sorts–is inspired. The contents invite readers to ponder, linger, and slowly take in the love and care with which it has been created. Do not rush. Spending time with this book is a gift for tired, troubled, or weary souls, and those who simply thrill to encounter beauty.
