About the Author: Born and raised in St. Louis, Michael J. O'Hara now resides in New Orleans. Being raised in a black Baptist family whose father, grandfather, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc., were all ministers, pastors, I guess you could say I was practically born in church! He has been a performer, writer, singer, recording artist, producer, and teacher. O'Hara has performed all over the world as The Sheik, opening for the Rolling Stones, Chaka Kahn, The Kinks, and others.
