This is not what you are thinking.
It is not clear when gay took on its: modern meaning; but likely within only the past 100 years or so. This change was not done by homosexuals; but rather was done to homosexuals. Why was this done? Was this change just a change to what used to be called hip talk; or was this change a part of a much larger plan?
How much of this work is about homosexuality?
Chapter 1: The New Gay, analyzes the emergence of gay as a term relating to homosexuality, circa. 1922.
Chapter 2: The Biblical New Gay; analyzes each and every Biblical verse, that is believed by most to relate to homosexuality.
Chapter 3: The True Gay and onward, are largely concerned with the original meaning of gay.
Once the original meaning of a word is drastically altered; that which it originally symbolized is easily forgotten. This is why true lexicographers will never remove a word from circulation.
What does the Bible literally state about homosexuality; and what does the Bible literally state about being gay? These terms are not synonymous; but Biblically are actually unrelated to each other.
And we know God wants us to be gay, because His Word is quite clear in this regard.
But how can one become that which God desires, when one no longer knows what that is? God literally told us what we are here to do, but no one seems to notice it; instead supplanting His word with what they say God wants us to do.
The closer we get to doing what God actually wants; the gayer we become-in the original meaning.
LTBG, (not LGBT), is a Bible based work, designed to do many things; among these:
To reclaim the true meaning of gay, because once the symbol for a thing is lost, the knowledge of that specific thing is lost.
To provide an analysis of that with which God literally charged man, particularly in Genesis 1:28; thus answering the question of: The Purpose of Man (Chapter 4); according to the original Hebrew and Greek.
An analysis of the power available to man, specifically dunamis; and provide the true literal meaning of that: narrow way and: narrow gate; of which Jesus spoke, via analysis and not commentary.
This is done using the original Hebrew and Greek, from the original un-modernized 1890 Strong’s Concordance. There are 194 footnotes, and an additional 48 embedded footnotes.
