A Ghostly Rescue: A Story of Two Horses

Granny, the Indian ghost, realized that there was something horribly wrong. The sky was turning dark, and the wind was getting stronger. In a second she was standing on top of the bluff and saw the unimaginable nightmare racing toward her. It can’t be! Everybody is in danger! Frightened for her friends, she looked back down along the creek. She was glad that she didn’t see any of her creek friends. Then Granny looked out over the valley and saw Charlie and Buster standing in the field. Terror struck. Oh no! I have got to try to warn them.
