But he rose to prominence to become a Rhodes scholar, law professor, Attorney General of Arkansas and then led as Governor for ten years gaining national acclaim for his work on education, welfare reform and health care. Defeating an incumbent President, he became a moderate force to be reckoned with in Washington. His historic Presidency, to be noted for numerous outstanding achievements, will forever be known as the second to be impeached as well as the second to be censored by Congress.
