Sadie’s Sweet Adventures: Trooper Gets Lost

Author and illustrator Gwena Christine is a 10-year-old 5th grader, who enjoys writing stories, drawing, and creating characters for people to enjoy. After moving to a new neighborhood with her family, she decided that it was time to document her own unique adventures.

Gwena’s stories are based on real-life experiences, with her own friends, told and illustrated in her own unique way. She shares with her young readers the adventures she has with her best friend, Trooper the pig. Trooper and her are inseparable, and have a love for exploring the great outdoors.

In this book, Trooper accidentally gets lost in the woods, while Sadie is introducing herself to the new neighbors. When Sadie realizes Trooper has gone missing, her new friends explain to her that the cougars come out at night. During the search for her pig, they are faced with many obstacles in the race to find Trooper and get back home before night falls.
