Alexandria Anastasia King, aka Alex, is a woman with new-found wealth, freedom and a mission in life. A bad marriage and the murder of a friend put her on the path to make things right in the world...in her own, unique way. With friend and mentor Jack Sterling, ex-intelligence operative, they establish KING Consulting. It's an enterprise she describes as, 'a business people tend not to talk about, but everybody wishes they had on speed dial'. Under Jack's guidance she learns hand-to-hand combat, firearms and knife skills, preferring a Heckler and Koch .45 and KA-BAR combat knife. She and Jack recruit their select cadre of team members and take the jobs other agencies defer. Where Alex and her team go, trouble is never far behind, from the sewers and hotels of Las Vegas to tropical isles.
