How did ordinary Christians achieve extraordinary results while spreading the Gospel in Peru? By the power of the Holy Spirit!

Each missionary knew he had been chosen by the grace of God and called to serve in Peru, leaving family, friends, and country to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Everyone felt unworthy and insufficient to represent their Savior, yet they went by faith.

The following generations built upon the firm foundation which had been laid and, for all, it was a privilege and adventure to serve the Lord amidst many joys and sorrows. The Peruvian brethren have followed in their footsteps and have made and continue to make even greater sacrifices to extend the Kingdom of God.

The book begins with the arrival of the first missionaries, beginning in 1935 through 1960, telling who they were and what they faced. It continues with how the second and third generations reinforced and expanded the work to the present day, relating why and how they began Radio Amauta, Bible translation, and the training of leaders. Dedicated Peruvians tell their own stories of salvation and their hard work to spread the Gospel. All of this took place while they struggled with strong opposition, a guerrilla war, and great social and economic hardships.
