About the Author: New Zealander Amber Jo Illsley has lived in various places, including Switzerland, Australia, and the USA, but currently resides in Invercargill, New Zealand, in the far south of the South Island. I spent many years as a freelance journalist and editor, and thought that a novel about a young feisty journalist and her many experiences would be fun to write.
