History of a Small Church

Many histories have been written about large churches but few about small ones. Yet for 2,000 years most Christians have been saved, baptized, and nurtured in the small church, which has also been the primary source of missions. Very remarkably, no enduring group or institution has ever created such fraternity and community across cultures and languages. The Spirit of God is the unifying force, and the expression of the Spirit in the small church remains unabated, regardless of the success or failures of the cultures. This book records the history of a typical, small, rural church in as much detail, and as accurately as reasonably possible, to preserve the legacy of this pillar of Christianity.
