This book describes the second step in our spiritual journey toward dealing with some of the most difficult problems that life can bring. The first series of gospel books which preceded this book dealt with the essential issues that people face and described exactly how receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord could bring relief. Through our salvation, much of the stress and strain of the difficulties we face are eliminated as we redefine our lives as now in Him and as the Spirit begins to indwell us. Yet, due to our fallen humanity, we might still be struggling with some of these old issues while encountering new ones. We may still experience emptiness, fear of death, torment, pain-filled bodies, desperation facing tragedies, regret for past actions, guilt for past sins, despair, broken hearts, anxiety, a lack of purpose, or financial uncertainty.
