Skip Thornton lived a life that others only dream about.

Managing a luxury charter boat fleet gave him access to yachts, as well as sailing and diving adventures in beautiful surroundings. It also gave him access to many vacationing young women who immensely enjoyed the company of the engaging, intelligent and handsome ex-Marine. Though he knew that this easy-going lifestyle must to come to an end someday, he did not know how to take the first step.

When a twist of fate forced him to flee St. Thomas by boat in the dead of night with two of his best friends, he was overtaken by a vicious early-season hurricane that nearly killed him. Skip was compelled to take serious stock of his life, which led him onto a profound path of self-discovery.
