Faith In Difficult Times

Faith in the promises of God to the church empowers the spiritual Christian to cope with the difficult times in life. Because the believer has the mind of Christ, he is able to view life’s troubles as God does, recognizing that they are temporary and fleeting in comparison with eternity. His trust in the sufficiency of God’s word allows him to enter into God’s rest, depending upon God’s provision for him and proving out God’s purposes in grace.
