To rid themselves of this dangerous and nuisance plague, the powers that be, (a.k.a. the a-holes God didn't want) decide to take a note from history and use these demon-ridden corpses for entertainment.
While a darkness is growing in the east, something has awakened to the west. The Earth has been taken for granted and there is a growing list of enemies ready to take it from the depleted human population that foolishly calls it home.With promises sure to be broken, Lenore struggles to find the strength inside of her to lead the team she formerly followed. She is still far from convinced she will play a significant role in the coming battle. Priest, on the other hand, discovers a new myriad of powers that may be integral to fighting the grim.
Though everyone is eager to get revenge on Adrian Dorn, Lenore is certain he is more dangerous than he appears and she wants to learn more about him before they reveal themselves as a threat. What she discovers, however, reveals more about her role in the apocalypse than his.
