Wanted: A hard-working individual with a high tolerance for cold temperatures and boredom. Must love dragons.

Danato has been the designated warden for a secret prison deep in the arctic circle for as long as he cares to remember. Although he is only one in a long line of wardens, there is no one to follow him. And because this isn’t a regular prison, he doesn’t have the luxury of advertising in the local newspaper. He must find his own successor.

Unfortunately that means bringing someone new into his strange world. A world of vampires, werewolves, and all manner of fairy tales and nightmares. Mostly nightmares. And if that wasn’t bad enough, there is a catch. There is always a catch.

The job offer is permanent. Once he decides on a candidate there is no turning back, for them or him.
