By 2025 India will be the most populous country in the world surpassing China. We will not know whether to celebrate it or mourn it. As of now we are adding 17 million unwanted Indians to India per year. This will go up further if we don’t do anything to curtail it. The population of whole of Australia is 26.3 million in 2016. Whatever progress we are making, all that is being devoured by these unwanted mouths. As it is India is afflicted with many horrendous drawbacks like a large number of farmers committing suicide, rampant poverty, unmatched corruption, a huge illiterate population, massive unemployment, thousands of un-electrified villages, lack of toilets and sanitation, millions of malnourished children and grave human trafficking of girls and women to outside countries. Unfortunately the nouveau rich India is refusing to understand the plight of poor India. The policy makers and legislators are misleading the people with GDP growth rate and the like which is throwing the poor into the lap of further destitution. Even the nature is creating many handicaps for us like very erratic monsoon.
The book discusses all the above and shows how we can make a modest beginning to overcome these. This is a must read book for every Indian.
