Ride the Stone Pony

In this second installment of the Danny Hughes adventures, Hughes, a Boston PI, leaves his sweltering Beacon Hill apartment behind for what turns out to be a dangerous and confusing mission. Hired to locate a runaway on the Jersey shore, he thinks what will be a semi-vacation at the beach turns out to be an impossibly dangerous assignment. Realizing he has no clue about the Jersey Shore culture, he enlists the support of Angie, his raven-haired girlfriend, and brings in a colleague to help navigate the maze of nefarious Shore characters.
