Townspeople in a picture-perfect small town on the Maine coast try to put multiple events from the recent past behind them only to discover that not everything that took place previously remains forgotten or forgiven, while a dangerously unstable young man arrives in town with ideas of murder after finding out his entire life has been a lie.
