Jack the Cat: An Angel’s Tale

At only a few weeks old, Jack the kitten is all alone and on the run. To avoid the fate his mother, brothers and sisters suffered at the hands of cruel humans, Jack escapes. He is befriended by Murphy, a street-smart alley cat. Murphy helps Jack survive in a world that is much larger than Jack ever dreamed. Through tragedy and grace, Jack learns that not all humans are inhumane and cruel. Jack is a cat of unusual sensitivity and empathy. He seeks to nurture the natural compassion of children for all creatures, great and small. Through his stories, Jack teaches children what they can do to help animals and the planet we all depend on.
