The Shadow in the Dark

The Shadow in the Dark revolves around the friendship between an eight-year old boy from a troubled and poverty stricken background and a twelve-year-old girl from a liberal and affluent family. Simplicity and innocence were the basis of their friendship, formed at a tender age.

As years roll by, their association faces the stark reality-the differences in their background. As teenagers, they went in different directions; the girl leaves for higher education, while the boy gets arrested and convicted for murder.

They meet again as adults, and begin to face the world, families and personal relationships together, drawing strength from each other and learning through each other’s perspective, but only for a brief period of time.
