In the early 1970's in an impoverished section of Barranquilla, Columbia a young mother is forced to separate her twin baby boys. She devotes her life to her religion and her remaining son. Circumstances brings her son into the clutches of the head of the Cali drug cartel and eventually onto the radar of the United States Drug Enforcement Agency.
