Daughters of the Wind: The Story of the Christian Women’s Center
Charlotte Davis,Sue Hulon-Palmer
Every day, most Christians go about the task of living, oblivious to the ugly, underbelly of human society and the hopeless devastation of the women who inhabit that bleak place. However, God is not blind to the need, and all across the country, He moves on the hearts of believers to provide shelter, protection, and a ray of light for those desperately trying to find their way out of that dark world.
In 1983, God saw such a need in Griffin, Georgia and sent His Holy Wind into the life of Sue Hulon. Although she had no knowledge of visions, God used just such an experience to get her attention. Like a clip from a movie, the scene that rolled before Sue’s startled eyes rocked her world and changed the trajectory of her life. With meager financial support, but lavish love and assistance from the ladies in her home Bible study group, Sue charged fearlessly into the devil’s territory to reclaim God’s lost daughters.
This is the story of how God took one rebellious teenager, tamed the wild spirit within her, and then used the woman she became to touch the lives of countless women and children for their good and His glory.
