This book is in dictionary format, giving both the German word, the English word, and its definition. It was composed by Theresa Wald, who is a native speaker of this dialect. This distinct dialect was spoken by the German colonists in Southern Russia, which consisted of three major enclaves in the Odessa area, namely the Catholic mother-colonies including the three districts of Liebental Kutschurgan, and Beresan, as well as the Alsatian villages of Mannheim, Elsass, and Franzfeld. The author has also created an audio recording using her own voice to coincide with the book, which can be obtained by contacting the publisher.
