This book is the collection of Master Jung Kyu Lee’s writings on Martial Arts including Tae Kwon Do. Master Jung Kyu Lee was born in South Korea and now lives in the Greater Washington D.C. area. He majored in physics at Chungbuk National University in South Korea in 1997. He has been training, researching, and teaching martial arts for over 37 years and he was a Korean Army Special Forces Combat Instructor. He holds a Seventh-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. In 2008, he contributed essays to a Taekwondo publication regarding his experiences as a Taekwondo master and he received feedback from many people that his essays invoked tears and laughter. Later on, the essays were published in a book under the title The Journey of Master Lee (in Korean). On top of that, he is currently working as a martial arts columnist for the famous martial art website (www.mookas.com). He has argued that Taekwondo can broaden its horizons only when the men of Taekwondo have a broader range of interests and learning. As part of an ongoing effort to combine Taekwondo with science, he has published a book titled The Science of Tae Kwon Do in 2012. He is still seeking for a way to enlightenment for people and their lives through Taekwondo and the martial arts.
