This novel explores the complexities of the law and certain gaps in the justice system through the lense of a murder mystery. It intentionally invokes the question of what happens when a victim is left without legal remedies and explores fundamental questions of morality in the face of unwavering inequality. Victoria Slatton is an immigration attorney in Washington D.C. She is an advocate for justice, equality, and unconventional behavior. This is her first novel.
