Great State

The Great State is a totalitarian nation in every sense. Detainment centers, extradition, secret courts, and absolute power vested in the executive branch are only a few of its tools. The police are unchecked by the government. Cumulatively, this leads to a nation gripped by fear.

Fear is the primary tool used to indoctrinate its people. Other tools used to facilitate control include power, money, and greed. It is illegal in the Great State to own a business, or be a businessman. With the media run by the state, ordinary checks and balances cease to exist. The protagonist Charles Bates will have to join forces with an attractive Jessica Barnes to achieve the impossible: the destruction of the totalitarian government-before it’s too late.

Charles climbs the corporate ladder through manipulation and dastardly schemes of grand proportions. Ruthless in his planning, he may have to undermine his romantic relationship with Jessica to better serve his own interests.
