A story of an American Soldier killed at 19 in Burma in WW II. After years of research the author, who was also Private Cavallo’s first cousin, wrote a gripping narrative. Nothing was known by the extended Cavallo family at the time. But, the author immersed himself in history to tell his cousin’s true story for him. The story does not glorify war but reports war’s reality for those who faced the enemy and dangers of the Burmese jungles at close quarters with the enemy in 1944.
