According to the Holy Bible, when Samuel anointed David the Spirit came upon him that day, and there it remained. There was a time when God Himself filled His horn with oil and poured it out upon a hundred and twenty souls in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost. That anointing still remains upon God’s people today.

A big part of having the anointing is understanding the purpose of having it in your life. It takes time. The Scriptures say that one sows and one waters, but it is God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). As we grow in our relationship with God, we grow in the anointing.
