Lies That Bind: Kaedyn’s Story

Kaedyn is only sixteen when her mother dies of cancer and she finds herself drowning in her sorrow. As she discovers powerful mechanisms for coping with her grief, she withdraws from her family and friends more and more. Believing it is in her best interest, Kaedyn’s father sends her to live with her sister Kallie. But both Kallie and Kaedyn are about to learn that there are even more painful experiences than losing their mother, and that there can be dangerous consequences to withdrawing from the people they love most: each other. Kaedyn’s Story addresses issues relevant to today’s teen and young adult women and takes a step in withdrawing the veil drawn over child and teen abuse.
